Affiliate Marketing
There is a ton of ways to make money online now a days. Affiliate Marketing is one of the methods that I like to use. Affiliate Marketing is a great way for companies to get advertising through many different outlets and websites. There are many different websites out there that provide affiliate marketing links and companies for anyone to join up with. Here is how I do it…
The main website that I use is called Commission Junction. I am pretty sure that they are one of the biggest affiliate marketing websites out there! How it works is companies that want advertising go to CJ.com and sign up for the affiliate marketing program.
From there anyone who joins the CJ.com community can join up with what ever companies are relative to what their website is about. For example: If you have a golfing website you can go on CJ.com and find the golf related companies such as Callaway Golf Pre-Owned, Global Golf, Golf Galaxy, and many more. From there you would apply to become a part of their “Affiliate Marketing” program. After they approve you, you can get links and pictures that you can place in your posts or website that will link people to the site that you became an affiliate of. Then every time someone goes to one of your affiliate sites, from your site, and buys something you get a commission on whatever they spent!
How much you make varies depending on the company and what they buy, but you don’t do anything and get paid for someone else buying products! It is awesome! If that was confusing, it basically comes down to if someone goes to GolfGalaxy.com, through your website link, and buys something you just made money! Every company has different percentages and commissions for their individual programs, but this is a great way to make money through your website.
With the GolfWithCub.com website that I have, I am an affiliate of Golf Galaxy, Global Golf, Callaway Golf Pre-Owned, Golf Gifts, and a few others. So anytime someone goes to any of my links that I have down the side of my site, and buys something, I just made money! You can even put the links to your affiliates IN your posts and pages! I like to talk about certain products and then have the link to it in the same post! That way if someone does decide they want whatever it is I am talking about, they just click the link and buy it.
